Originally sold in Arizona then sold on to California where it was kept in amazing original condition by 3 consective Citroen entheuiasts. After a life in the dry climate of Texas this special SM with only 54,000mls showing arrived in Aust. in Dec.`06 in excellent condition. Beautiful to look at and superb to drive, the quality Rouge Lucifer respray makes this unique example very special indeed. The interior is all original and still immaculate after 34 yrs., a testimony to the original hi quality materials and the TLC with which it has been maintained. Citroen SM Maserati 3.0l Carby, Auto, USA Chassis No. 00SD0223

California car with perfect original bodywork . Just completed 8 mth. bare-metal strip & re-paint with photos, and the reconditioning of the original engine, trim, & hydraulics etc. It was fitted fitted with a new auto transmission with special low ratios for exceptional acceleration. Full history of rebuild . All modern upgrades. It is an exceptional performer and is used as a daily driver by SM Aust's MD but is still maintained in show condition and has completed the last two Grand Tours. Euro head light set

The lights are in fair condition with only minor discolouration of the reflectors. The lenses are in good order. The mounting and pivot of the LH lights requires some minor repairs and the hydraulic components do not exist. The Headlight support panel is in good condition $AUD5,000    more >

Originally Silver with black leather. Currently undergoing restoration. Rare 1 owner; Log Books, 77,000mls. Well maintained by SM specialist from new with a colour change in 1991 to Cream. Sparingly driven by its ageing engineer owner till imported to Australia in 2004.It will be stripped to bare metal and returned to original colour. White with black leather, only 42,000mls. and only 2 previous owners in 34 yrs. It was never `winter driven`in its home state of Philadelphia, being lovingly stored in a heated garage to protect it from the ravages of the snow & ice. When it arrived in Australia in 2006 it was in exceptional condition with original paint and soft black leather a testament to its sheltered life. Requiring only minor paint touchups to the body the engine was removed for the first time in its life to recieve all the modern upgrades to timing chain etc. and to be fully inspected before reassembly, detailing, and road testing. Fitted with an elec. metal sunroof, (rare in SMs), from new- this `virginal` low mileage example has plenty of appeal. During the engine upgrade the under bonnet recieved the full show standard finish. The car is not only the ultimate example of a totally restored SM it also features all the available optional upgrades, ie. Black with grey leather. Rare One owner. Sold by Merric  Mercury in New Yory City to Harvey Cohen of  Woodstock N.Y. State, it was originally Or de Simaine with Tabac leather and in 1989 at 70,000 mls it was completly stripped and rebirthed (Harvey prefered this to a new car). A complete body colour change to lusterous Black, a retrim to charcoal and overhaul of the engine, transmission, hydraulics etc. by an SM specialists in Philadelphia followed.  Subsequentally, due to Harveys ill health the car was rarely used arriving in Australia in 2006 with only 75,000 mls. Minor paint repairs and a major mech. inspection and service along with local rego. requirements of seat belts etc. see this desireabe 3.0l - 5sp  version available for sale .

  Now respledant in Kashmir with tan leather. Full body and mechanical updates and restoration is complete. Delivery and service Log books. A totally unmarked body from Arizona,( all the original factory undercoat was intact when stripped of colour),it never left the desert State. Featuring original carpet and leather in remarkable condition the car has completed 2000 mls of Road Testing and refinement since its rebirth, partaking in the SM Grand Tour II. where the super smooth, fully reconditioned and balanced engine demonstrated that it is possibly the most powerful SM available here.During the fittment of the new engine the entire engine bay was stripped to the bare chassis and reassembled to show standard with every component, brackets, hoses, nuts and bolts were painted, polished or poilshed, possibly the best SM we have built.
