At SM Australia we are passionate about every SM we prepare for sale. Some cars are rebuilt totally regardless of cost for concourse display with many improvements, and others are prepared for daily use only. In all cases the same proven basic preparation procedures are strictly followed ensuring every car is a reliable and satisfying performer and a credit to the marque, with all known items of concern suitably addressed. Each car is extensively workshopped and road-tested by the principals of SM Australia to ensure a consistently high standard in both performance and presentation is maintained

Major factory spec. service, inspection and road testing incl. :-

Service and tune engine, o'haul and balance carbys as required
Flush and replace all transmission, hydraulic and cooling fluids
Flush and pressure test radiator and cooling system
Remove and test thermostat
Replace all filters incl. fuel pump internal filter
Flush all coolers and lines
Test all hydraulic components and pressure test, spheres, pump, regulator and accumulators
Exhaust system as required
Set vehicle ride heights
Test/adjust brakes and hand brake
Pressure test steering rack and reseal as required
Test-seal all hydraulic junctions
Heat test cooling system
Compression test engine
Adjust all front end, sway bar and steering joints and rear arm knuckles
Check all instruments, lights and switches
Adjust and reset all seat operation setting controls
Supply Roadworthy Certificate and Australian Compliance Certificate
